A couple of weeks ago I was asked to make two Alt/Az mounts - but with a difference... these are for 8" refractors

So, 20mm anodised aluminium plate, watercut profiles, cnc machined knobs, blah, blah, blah. Designed to go on a Meade giant field tripod as a minimum, they are *BIG* bits of metal...

Well, I won't be using it but they will no doubt be used as a pair, side by side. Also on display in the shop I hear. The "attachments" in the pic (knobs and so on) have altered now so once I get some pics form the new owners either I (or they) can update these old ones.

Not so lucky WH, two of the staff at Telescope House have 8" refractors and are partial to visual stuff and so they asked me to make a couple of mounts for them for this reason. They do, however, go out together most times they are observing hence they will be seen together, just not *that* close together
