Hi guys just a wee heads up ,i was in Makro today and saw that they are selling 12v powerpacks for £14.99 + vat.

They look identical to the ones the BC&F sell i paid over £40.00 for mine from them.

Also they were selling 200 WATT power inverters for £16.99 + vat.

Just in case anyone was interested.

Is it the yellow Compact-Astro-Powerstation, or the larger black model? 

Of course, it won't come with the safe-light filter or the necessary DC lead ... but its still a good price.

It is the larger black one but with no red light protection.

I don't know about the DC lead.

Thats a good price. Could really do with one of those power inverters for the laptop. Shame i haven't got a Macro card.
