Thanks Neil,

I'm trying out a new (for me) processing technique.

I first noticed it in the Registax V5 manual but after failing to get it to work, came up with my own version.

The idea is to work in LRGB and apply the wavelets to the L channel only. Then combine with RGB, using the colour from the RGB layers.

I don't quite understand why in that simple form it should make a difference, and I'm not certain it does, but early results look promising.

The idea is that one can remove the Blue info from the L channel (Blue is normally the most blurred) but I haven't gone that far yet.
