M31 - Just because.....

I was determined to go for more unusual targets at the KH star party this year, but Andromeda was so bright and so naked eye obvious, it seemed rude not to give her just a little time.

So this is just 90 mins or so with my WO72 and QHY8. I didn't do any calibration frames for it, but it came out a lot better than last years attempt with my 400D.

I have a closer in section of this to process at some point.

The colour looks a bit sepia to me, maybe needs a bit of a tweak?

Did you use the LP filter?

No Rob, I didn't, and the background colour was very brown, bit milky that night as I recall. I'll tweak the colours if I get time, but I have a more interesting M31 version to play with

I always have a colour cast with my intitial data too.....I quite like the sepia though....a very Victorian M31
