zedds
Just a quick hello and to introduce myself. My name is Andy and like most on here i`ve been interested in things asronomical most of my life. My dad bought me my first telescope when i was about 10, a tiny little tasco refractor. But my first view of the moon through it was fantastic. I`ve only recently bought my second telescope, after a gap of 30 years, a Skywatcher Explorer 200p on a eq5. So mot much of a step up really .Ive been out in the garden a few times with the 200 ,clouds permitting and am blown away every time i look through through the eyepiece. My first look at saturn earlier in the year were excellent as are the views of jupiter now.I`m still learning my way around the sky and the telescope, but it is all good fun.So thats it and I hope to talk to some of you soon.Andy

zedds
Thanks again for everyone. Steve, for the life of me i can`t remember but that sounds about the same. I still have it in the attic so i will dig it out and find out, its about time it looked up into the night sky again:). And i`m sure my 5 year old daughter would love to get her hands on it.
