Just turned the camera to M42 to try and get an early shot, the hedge is quite annoying though.

I'm just having some fun with narrow band filters, tonight the Hb filter.

The plan was to to get 5 hours of the Bubble in Hb, then the rest of the night M1 in Hb.

Set the alarm, either it didn't go off or I slept through it. Got outside at 4:30. So I have the 5 hours of The Bubble... but the laptop wouldn't restart (fine now it's indoors Grrrrrrr).

So I called it a night for tonight. I'll try again tomorrow.

Oh to have some clear skies at night, lovely and clear all day the at sunset the could just rolled in like a giant duvet . Looking at the weather map I'm almost tempted to move to SE England. :o:)

They seam to have far more clear nights than I've seen all summer, but I have beautiful views and amazing sunsets & sunrises and I don't have to suffer the traffic jams on a Friday to get here and Sunday to go back home , so no contest really!!

I drank 1 litre of boost (5x more powerful than lucozade :icon_eek:)

I slept for 2 HOURS, woke up @ 1 am and didn't get back to sleep...and I was fine!!
