hello from brighton

hi folks im new to all this and just got myself a little skywatcher evostar 120 and eq5 mount until i can find my way around a little better then i'll more than likely upgrade.

im loving what ive seen so far (the moon, jupiter and its moons, m45) although nights out under the stars have been limited due to clouds but i suppose thats all part and parcel of it.

anyway fingers crossed for a clear weekend, until the next clear night im gonna enjoy the forum and study my maps of the stars

yeah its thick with cloud here too but i just watched a weather report and am hoping it will clear in the early hours.

theres only so much reading of the books you can do before you just wanna get out there, especially being very new to astronomy

yeah the light in brighton can be annoying especially living near asda who tend to leave their floodlghts on all night
