Hey guys,

This is a pic i took last saturday night, around 11pm from my garden. I live on an estate in a reasonably small town so there is light pollution/streetlights

Taken with d60, 10second exposure. Its a single shot, no modifications (other than cropping to reduce filesize), shot direct to JPEG.

I couldn't figure out any constalltions in the pic...too much going on

Is that the milky way going directly through, or am I just imagining it?

As Doc says, not bad for 10 secs.

It shows the northern sky including Cassiopeia and Ursa Minor. It even shows the M31, Andromeda galaxy:
