A M27 from me : 90 mins RGB from ED120

Managed to get 90 mins in 5 min subs on M27 last night in between the clouds and the moon. So seeing was not brilliant.

Also did my 1st set of sky flats and flat darks to add to the processing.

This was shot on the Skywatcher EvoStar Pro ED120 900mm F7.5 straight as a prime lens on a Canon EOS 350D with modded Baader filter.

A bit of stacking in DSS, some processing in PS.

Was wanting to get this in a 2x barlow, but too much hassle last night with the clouds.

Below was my 1st attempt with the same equipment when I 1st started a few months ago.

Getting better I hope, even got the Messier name right on the image this time

Aw thanxs mate It is nice to see the improvement when comparing the 2 images from 1st days to a few months on. Shame the clouds and moon were around as I really want to get at least 5 - 8 hours on this at 1800mm (x2 barlow) with the ED120 to see what is possible.
