Anyone know any Mods for Tripod?

hi there

anyone know of way to mod my tripod what i mean is adding abit of weight somehow to help with stability

would be esp interested if anyone has some type of mod that uses powertank

i have 7hr 12v Sw Tank which is very heavy would placing this on accessorie tray on its side be ok/help?

another thought i have is to possible use some type of arm/leg weight straps which are available very cheap

actually have a few already and tried it out seemed to be ok

easy to attach to tripod legs just above acc tray as they have velcro straps def makes set up more sturdy

(and would be gud if really windy aswell)

need one more though as only have pair

any thoughts comments ideas appreciated thanks

I have seen some people filling socks with sand and hanging them off tripods to help make it more stable!

You can use a bungy rope and tie it to the bottom of the centre pole of the tripod and either tie it to your battery pack or a ground spike. This will tension it into the ground.

But don't forget to remove the battery pack before lifting the tripod, or you'll get 4lbs of lead acid smacking you in the mush!
