First Jupiter with DSLR

Hello:

Was taking some more lunar pics last night and tried a few of Jupiter for the first time. Was at prime focus (9.25 SCT) with some Photoshop tweaking.

It was very cold and dew kept forming over scope et al.

I do have a small auto heater that plugs into a cigarette outlet. Would it be suitable to use this for dew removal on the scope?

Hi' for my scope i use a small hair dryer to get the dew of the lens.Mark
