I much prefer the close ups on the Moon, but it's hard for me to get the gain right. I'm taking 5 attempts to get 1 I havn't over saturated. So I always take a few of the whole Moon, that way I know I'll have something to show to end in case the close ups are a wash out.

great images Gaz, its a snap on the first one , yes the seeing was 9/10 last night i was so annoyed the clouds came as i thing i was ready for some real close in work as it was so still , maybe tonight , but those images are first class mate , well done .
