Couldn't let the chance slip by & not capture one of the biggest spots so far this cycle. A multitude of activity but AR3780 was the main event.

Tried something new with the White Light captures & still looking into it.

Usual Rig:-

152mm Tecnosky Refractor F5.9

Altair 1.0x Flattener (for more secure connection only)

AZEQ6-GT Mount

Baader 135mm D-ERF

Baader 3.8 solar film & Baader OIII NB filter for WL captures.

Daystar Quark Chromosphere @F30

Daystar Interference Eliminator

Point Grey IMX174 5.6um

Seeing 7/10

A very nice set of images. Interesting use of an o3 filter for the white light, do you find that better than the usual green continuum?

Thanks, i don't own a continiuum filter, i was using the Baader Green CCD filter but i find the OIII is better, you do get slightly faster exp with the Green though but with white light capturing 20000 frames is fairly easy
