My 1st Solar image

At last I have been able to get my new (to me) solar setup to work, I bought a Solarscope 50mm double stack filter system 2nd hand, with a Takahashi FS60C. Unfortunately I've been struggling to get it to focus, it had insufficient inward focus, so I reached out to Helmut Kessler at Solarscope for help, after exchanging emails and photographs it was agreed that I would send the 2" blocking filter to him and he would reduce the length of the nosepiece. This was completed in a week most of that time was spent in the post. Great service and communications from Helmut was much appreciated as I'd spent a considerable sum on purchasing the setup and a fairly inexpesive fix has calmed my nerves.

Anyway here is my first attempt, I need to learn to focus better and my processing skills will need improving a lot, I did use Bill from AnotherAstroChannel's Solar Toolbox script and watched his video to produve them.

Hi there ,

Could you please save your images as .PNG or .JPEG format so that they are shown automatically in your post.

I'm not the only one who refuses to download unknown files in order to see an image , sorry.
