Just returned home from the solar fest kelling Heath a very enjoyable 4 days with good company and old friends. Hopefully to become  an annual event..

Looks great - didn’t know about this event. What an opportunity to try out different scopes.

It was advertised on Star Gazers Lounge a few months ago .I put it on in the star party  events  section.

I was very aware of this event and so wanted to go, but I had booked a two week break that clashed without realising about the date.

I hope this does become a regular event.

looks like good fun was had,  and all that nice kit.

It was fun. Though Saturday wasn't particularly sunny. It was nice to see all the expensive kit!

My best image was one with a Quark and 80mm refractor. I also took one with a Herschel Wedge and G band filter with the same scope.

I'd intended to pop up and say hello , but every day when I got up I was greeted by bright blue sky so I stayed here imaging in my garden , maybe next year ... 😉
