M51 - getting better

I seem to get slowly getting there with my deep sky imaging - this one at least has some colour in it even if it does look a bit too blue! (previous attempt was just gray)

Think I tool about 20x 3min subs, stacked in DeepSkyStacker and then processed in Photoshop.

Hopefully it'll be better again once I get a guidescope sorted...

Scope: Celestron C6-N on HEQ5 Pro mount

Camera: Canon 450D DSLR

Location: Light polluted Swindon

Thast a cracking image especially seeing as its unguided.. there some very slight trailing which will have smeared the detail in the galaxy but you can still clearly see the dustlanes and to me the colour is fine...

doat1 - the scope is a Celestron C6-N - a 6" reflector, so nothing that special.
