My Jupiters from 23

Last night I wrestled my C11 off the mount and put the refractor on, thus ending my Jupiter imaging for this season (unless an especially perfect evening presents itself). These are all with the C11 and a selection of cameras / x2 powermate, hence the differing image sizes

This is my collected 'best of' from this year:

05/09/23:

26/09/23

11/11/23, with some very variable seeing

24/11/23 (not animated), but Ganymede showing some hints of detail! (PlayerOne Mars II-C / x2 Powermate)

28/11/23 - Ganymede top left, Europa in transit and Io bottom right (PlayerOne Mars II-C)

Thank you! I've had mine since July. It's not had a huge number of outings, due to our old advisory the weather!

Excellent - particularly the detail on Ganymede !

Very nice images. I quite like the animation from the 26/9 as it's really cool seeing, I presume, Io coming in and out Jupiter's shadow.

Thank you! I was surprised that it would resolve anything, but when compared with a simulated view, it does match up

Thank you! Odd one that: It's actually a stacking error that I missed when processing. the moon drifted outside the alignment boxes when I was batch stacking the videos, so there are about 3 frames when it's seem to almost vanish. I still have the raw stacks, so could redo it...maybe one day 🙂
