Pricey but well made and very easy to use, need to drill and tap another hole in the bottom of the dovetail.

It has very good ergonomics, handles are easy to access and both axes move smoooooothly!

I've found a suitable hex bolt to replace the one you see on the right of the bar. Would like to make it a quick release but the only vixen style clamp I have is too small, but only just.

On the look out or even a suggestion of a better solution?

Got round to upgrading my 3D Printer. The Ender 5 had served me very well but it was time to take advantage of some improvements in the 3D printing world, most notably speed, heated enclosure, input shaping and first layer fault detection. This thing (Creality K1 Max) is fast with a large build plate (300 x 300 mm).  Having much fun experimenting with it at the moment.  The second photo shows the bottom half of a DNA model for school; printed in half the time of the old printer :)

Thanks to mpb.com and DPD I have two new to me lenses, both used but in excellent working condition. Tamron 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD as 28mm one appeared too narrow for NLCs, it will be used mostly for astrophotography and events in the sky. Also, Canon 28-135mm F/3.5-5.6 IS USM for typical use.

A lot of night tests ahead... 😁
