Two planets. I have just seen 2 lights in the sky. On looking at them through powerful binoculars they look like planets...perfectly round ..I have never seen this before ..they were South East.. any answers please..

Lower one Venus. Higher one would be Jupiter. If you look carefully at Jupiter you might spot a few of the 4 large moons that go around it. Three currently on view. One just going behind Jupiter itself.

If you look south right now and almost straight up, the red one is Mars
