Cygnus widefield

Taken with my Samyang 135mm Cine lens at about F3 and the 2600mc on my AVX mount.  Included the L-eXtreme as the moon was about and unfortunately that changed my back-focus a bit so some eggy stars are present.  I also pushed the exposures to 10 minutes and took around 9hrs worth.

Processed in Siril, StarnetV2, Gimp and Topaz.

Beautiful wide field. Good colours. Focus feels a bit soft when you zoom right in, but as a wide field - fantastic!

Thanks old eyes. Agree on the focus, I haven't rigged an auto focus on this set up yet and was too lazy to stay up and tweak throughout the night!

Know what you mean. Too old for that lark. Esp in summer when we only get nautical dark for a couple of hours around midnight.!

Nice image, not sure why you felt the need to go with 10min exposures with the 2600mc though? Especially at f3.

Thank you. I did it just to see how they turned out. I hypertuned the AVX myself a few weeks back so a bit of a test and experiment.  5 minutes would be my normal sub length with the l-ex. Certainly saw that some of the Ha was over exposed following the stack.
