That's a nice trick!

I have a T42 rotator lying somewhere! Its a TS optics one!

I'd say the 105 spacing  spec isn't accurate, but the spacing is, the XLT will never achieve a perfectly flat frame but you want the stars at the edges to be the best they can... With a SCT, spacing / collimation have to be fairly good to have acceptable results...
