M101 work in progress + feedback please

This is a work in progress. 6.5 hours on M101 using a 294MC-pro and 10” f4 newt. Uncropped FOV and a tight crop on the core. Pleased with the fine detail but the colour doesn’t seem right to me.

 

I use APP and PS

 

Anyone have processing suggestions?

Looks good to me. I don't know APP, so can't really help with getting the colour right. Combining Ha with RGB in the linear stage worked best for me.

It looks good to me too. I’m not on my imaging PC, but I’m sure APP has an option to combine Ha with LRGB in the combine RGB tool.

Yep, looks good to me, the colours aren't overblown (Very easy to do with galaxies) and you've worked the H-alpha in very well.

Very nice as it is, it looks great. If you want it a little warmer try lowering the green level.

Thanks all. Very useful comments. This is all shot with a 294MC pro and Optolong L-pro, so no Ha to extract! Was pleased to get some of the ha areas coming through
