I managed to get out and see the comet, it was a faint shadow with binoculars, but obvious in the Mak. Because it was towards the end of nautical twilight, it looked more like an unresolved globular cluster, but averted vision revealed half a degree of tail or so.

Very nice session until the clouds came over and I put all away to get home for dinner. I love the additional hour of darkness :grin:
