black circle in proms

Hi All,     Hope sum one can help with how to put black circle in the centre off white circular proms image so it just to show proms

I use PhotoFiltre 7. 

Draw a circle. Then enlarge it with Manual Settings.
Until it just grazes the inside edge of the sun's disk.
Stroke and Fill the circle with black. Job done.

In PS I use the magic wand (adjust the Tolerance to suit) then open curves and drag the whit point down.
