C9.25 service and collimation

I have a C9.25 which is due a little DLC mainly external dust and a check of the collimation. Can anyone recommend someone, I would prefer to deliver and pick up in person but living in Mid Wales is probably going to entail a long drive.

Couple of reasons to suggest you do it yourself Rob

Even if you took it somewhere to have it done for you by the time you got it back home it could have shifted it's collimation slightly ... if it has Bob's knobs I'd guarantee that it would

If it's external dust or dew spots it won't show on a image or visual unless it's really bad

So I'd invest in some pec pads, some cleaning solution and watch a few u tube videos and away you go...externally they're quite simple....wouldn't know about internally as not plucked up the courage for that yet

Thanks, collimation shifting was the reason I was not going to trust a courier but I understand that even my careful driving would probably require a fine adjustment when home.

I recently cleaned the corrector plate and re-collimated my C9.25 - it's very straightforward to do if you take your time.
