Just a minute, Orion's back!

Well.. ok 2 x 1 minute Ha, oiii. And 1x5 second oiii for the core.

this morning, I noticed Orion had appeared to the right of the trees that border my garden. I had time to shoot off these single 1 minute subs before  the light whited out my guide camera.

So - first M42 of the season ?

I was up last night after an imaging session. I looked out the kitchen window and there was Orion! A welcome sight

Lovely image.  I saw Orion Monday morning before work. Grabbed 30mins with the scope. First visual of the season.

Just to confirm he appeared above the horizon godawful early one morning here in N Wales while I was doing an all night imaging session on the Eastern Veil! I was unexpectedly pleased to welcome him back.

Is there any better sight than the first seasonal sighting of Orion (the constellation)?

”Bobbins.” As the guy in a youtube channel I’m following, would say. I was hoping to catch a few more galaxies in Pegasus and Andromeda before they disappear. But autumn is unfortunately also cloud season over here. (As are winter and spring, but autumn more so.)
