26042021 Gorgeous sunspot group through cloud and dreadful seeing saved by ImPPG.

It has been a real struggle today. With hours of heavy cloud and a constant stream crossing the image.
Yet again ImPPG brought some sanity to an otherwise impossible day's imaging.
These images aren't great but show what is possible despite very difficult seeing conditions.
The hideous truth lies last in the series. Converted from tiff to JPEG without further processing.

Nice results given the seeing. Pretty bad here too. Shame, because that group is amazing!

Thanks Stu.

A little encouragement makes it all worthwhile on such a difficult day.
It has been "freezing" here. With 46-47F max and breezy.
Clouded over for hours and now again, but still with hopeful gaps.
It wasn't very long ago that I decided I'd never make any progress with ImPPG.
Now I wouldn't be without it.

Excellent images. That is an interesting group of spots.

I am always amazed at how the weather is so different now that I see others here speak of their conditions.

You are freezing and I'm sitting in the car while SWMBO is shopping and the actual temperature is near 90° F.

Thought I would save the environment so I shut off the engine. Wow was that dumb!
