Help! 😱

AS!3 is hiding its output files!
I have searched everywhere using different terms.
ImPPG can't find them.
I have tried giving files individual names before processing and after stacking but still nothing!

Yes, I do have "Saved in folders" ticked.
I've made no "adjustments" to AS!3 since my last imaging session.

Help? Pretty please?

Sometimes mine takes yonks to arrive where they are supposed to be, maybe your hd is busy?

Thanks but I have two internal SSDs. Recently installed. Almost empty.

wonder if its a case of permission ? folder access.

this is what permissions should look like for full access for drive .

Just checked both drives and all is ok.
Still no "stills" coming out of AS!3.
The AVIs from SharpCap are all there.

What file extension are you saving  the stacks? Are you trying to find it only from within ImPPG?

I use the default output from AS!3. The same name as the automatically dated and timed AVI.

Normally it would be simple to find the "still" images in the same folder as the videos.
In this case there were no still images to find.  Not anywhere on the laptop.
AS!3 seemed to Analyse and Stack the AVI videos, as usual, but there was no discoverable output.

The next day it was completely back to normal and the NEWLY PROCESSED images were being filed in the correct folder.

I capture dozens of videos with each imaging session and usually process them to publishable form within a minute or two.
It was extremely frustrating not to be able to post the day's images on my blog as a "live" record of interesting solar activity.
