UltraWide AFOV Binoculars ?

I’m trading down from Nagler to morpheus in my binoculars, for more eyerelief, less distortion and an ability to see the whole field. I found I had to look “round the corner” to see the Nagler field stop, so not fully using the field supplied.

For “richest field”, low power, wide views are needed. There have been calculations for the “best” optics for this…. https://www.cloudynights.com/articles/cat/articles/binoculars1405754339/which-binoculars-will-give-you-maximum-star-counts-r88

Binocular views have more contrast, but big binoculars have limited availability or are tricky to build.

The table in the first link above shows there are many  options available, no one “perfect” answer. With large exit pupils and filters a lot of extended objects can become available, some interesting reports on CloudyNights in recent months.
