Got to stop doing this or I’ll be into Astro photography next which I said I wouldn’t do ! 😂. having said that is there a good webcam that is generally used for basic planetary imaging. I’ve seen some discussions on the Celestron Neximage 10. Thanks for any recommendations. Maybe try making your own planetary camera? 1
Andy ES
Thanks, I used to be an instrument Engineer in a former life so it looks very doable. could also save about £175.! Thanks.
Andy ES
Got out last night on a nice clear night, which I wasn’t expecting from the clear outside app. Too good to miss! 🔭😁 I’ve got my system straight now for setting up, so I can open the back door and get everything outside and set up in about 15 minutes which I’m pleased with. The new eyepiece case is a real help with keeping everything in order. Didn’t bother with the finder scope as the Telrad has proven to be so accurate during the alignment process. just did solar system Lunar alignment which tracked perfectly. Just took these photos with my smart phone and various Baader Morpheus EPs, conditions were very good. Going to get a ZWOASI224MC for some planetary photography. Cheers
