What to do with unused Starsense?

I previously  had a CG5-ASGT and I purchased a Celestron Starsense the Christmas before last,  but I have now have upgraded to a EQ6-R.

I could buy the skywatcher bridge but do I need to? I also have the primaluce Eagle with Sharpcap etc for polar alignment. Unfortunately  I haven't had time test it yet

So would the starsense add anything to my set up or am I better off selling the starsense?  (I read on cloudynights that starsense improves goto slewing accuracy vs tracking accuracy)

I think if you can platesolve, the starsense is no longer of use, starsense is more aimed at visual setups.

Right, thanks Miguel - I am building my setup as purely photographic & robotic. I wasn't sure if the starsense would fit before sharpcap,ipolar/polemaster polar alignment or indeed it was needed at all?

(when I bought the starsense I was working visually with a dslr on a limited budget - not so much now)

If your setup includes imaging and with a laptop then platesolvers are so much more accurate, within a few pixels...

Might be slightly biased as had a major gripe with starsense, plus other celestron products that just don't work..my opinion of course
