Wide Field Imager For All?

Recently Trevor from Astrobackyard has had the chance to work with a telescope manufacturer who asked him to design a great all around wide field imaging APO. The Raptor is the result of careful planning from Trevor, who as we know is a cracking imager, what do you imagers think? would you buy one?.

It depends how much it is, whether it is available worldwide and the support network.I had never heard of Radian before watching the video. The WO Redcat is higher on my list.

I agree with Phillyo there is a lot of evidence that suggests its a rebrand with a few extras. Cuiv did a video showing the differences.

There has been quite a bit of backlash against this new scope on the social platforms. Trevor even posted a cryptic message in his instagram account so its obviously hit a nerve.

Looks like you can only get it from OPT so it will cost a lot more to have it shipped to the UK along with the import duty.

From what I've read it seems quite a few of the scopes all come from 1 or 2 manufacturers and then have the final touches applied by the selling company.

I do wonder what equipment all these youtubers (not just the astronomy ones) would own if they had paid for it with their own money.

Ultimately those are the only reviews / promotions I consider valid..
