Convert a fit file

Hi all

 

Would some kind member of the forum mind converting my attempt at andromeda from a fit to a tiff. As I cant edit it in its current format. Also if anyone wants to have a go at editing it and giving me a few pointers, help yourself.

There you go,given it a little stretch for you. It's not bad data, but you need more of it to start bringing out the galaxy and structure.

You can use Fits Liberator to convert your files, there was a recent video on SGL with instructions, should be on You Tube by now.

That’s brilliant thank you so much. This was a test run that I did midweek so couldn’t get too much, however the weather is looking promising on Friday so I should be able to get a good few hours worth.

From your other post, are you ipad processing ? is there a converter that runs on the ipad ?
