Recommend a Cheshire Collimator

Recommended Posts

Hi

Think it's time I collimated my scope (Starquest 130P, 1.25 inch focuser). Looks like a Cheshire is probably the best option from what I can work out.

Would this be any good?

or am I better off paying a bit more and getting the longer one from FLO? (and if so, whats the difference between the long and short)

Thanks

Greg

Adding to what Pixies has said - as the model you have chosen is the short version it can be used as a collimation cap. With the longer versions it would obstruct your ability to see all the way to the mirror clips, hence need a separate collimation cap (if it doesnt have the detachable kind)
