I've tried to find these, but I cant seem to get anywhere.  Slotted or allen key style, doesnt matter.  Has anyone bought something similar? I can find companies taking large orders, or bespoke orders with 25 days waiting time.  I need 3 of them.

Thanks

Adam

Be carefull about browsing through the WDS website. Loads of usefull bits for astro use on there ££££ 😁😁😁

Tell me about it!  I needed four stainless steel button head M6 bolts to replace rusty ones on my dome, and ended up spending £33 on various sizes of bolts that I 'might' need in the future.  Any you cant buy just a pack of 4, you need to buy 20 to get the best value 😁

Just came across this post. what did you need the grub screws for?

I needed a way of holding my Nikon lens / QHY9 combo.  I had some heavy duty guiderings and the screws were too long and didn’t have plastic tips. The camera rests on the dovetail so these don’t take the full weight, more just hold it in place.  It allows my to align it with the other OTAs. There is no tripod attachment hole on the QHY9.

The brass grub screws are for holding my finder scope, as I don’t care much about marring the barrel of it.

I didn't realise you could get screws like that. Is there any reason why you didn't go for ones that had thumb screws rather than hex sockets?

No real reason, but it’s not adjusted once aligned and space is limited.
