First real Mars image- 4th August 2020

I just got a new 8" CC scope a few weeks back, and finally managed to avoid clouds and get a shot of mars! extremely pleased with the results! my best Mars image before this was just a red blob with zero details. Hope to get some better shots till opposition in october! 

GSO 8" CC

CEM-40, Neximage 5

best 55% of 15k frames stacked in ASII, processed with registax and lightroom.

Yes nice to see images from the CC. Although I use mine for visual love using it and wouldn’t go back to an 8” SCT.  🙂
