NGC7635 - The Bubble Nebula.

Taken over two nights at the end of last month, just before we lost darkness and the Moon took over.

I originally tried Starnet++ to remove the stars and create a star layer, but was not happy with the results. For this version I experimented with Straton, which has produced a very clean image and better stars.

As well as the nearly full frame image, I decided to include a crop on the bubble, as there is virtually no noise.

Processed with DeepSkyStacker, Siril, Straton and Photoshop.

36 x 300s, with darks, flats and dark flats. Total exposure time, 3 hours.

C11 at f6.3, ZWO ASI294MC Pro and Optolong L-Pro filter.

That's a very nice rendition for 3 hours worth of data at that focal length / f-ratio.  Having captured the same object with the same scope I know it's not easy!  I actually prefer the slightly wider-field version but both are lovely.

Thank you! I was hoping to get more than 3 hours, but conditions wouldn't let me. I think the stars need a shorter exposure time than the nebula and I will be adding to it, when it's a bit higher in the sky.

Thanks to all for your positive comments. 

I agree on the wide image being better, but I really like the orientation of the cropped version, so the next time I image the bubble, the camera will be turned 90 degrees! 😀

I've not had much experience using the ASI294MC Pro and I think this really demonstrates what it can do.
