Apologies in advance for next week's cloud cover

Hi all,

As my retirement begins on Monday, I have ordered some new equipment from our favourite supplier.

In mitigation, I did go for the time of year when we are losing dark rather then gaining it.

However, my actions will result in several nights total cloud cover, unfortunately I can not say if this will start on the day of delivery, or a day or so lat once I start setting it up.

If it’s any consolation I’m also to blame for the clouds too having just taken receipt of some more gear (another scope with bits n bobs)

No. The contract states that cloud cover begins immediately after the point at which you have just managed focus on your first star.
