2 cameras; Mono + OSC or 2 x Mono ?

Yes I've slowly come to the same conclusion, but I've put the purchase on hold until the dual rig is a little closer to being operational.

I want the 1600 GT but the price isn't justifiable, so it looks like it will be a 2nd 1600 with 5 position filter wheel and LRGB filters.

I have an Esprit 150 on the JTD adjustable saddle, and it's right on the limit of what it can handle, so I guess it will be OK with an Esprit 100 on there. I take my hat off to you for considering two 8" Quattros on a dual rig.

I went the mono cameras on both scopes route, but there is a view out there that mono cameras might soon be an endangered species? APP can do some wonderful stuff with combining data from different sources.
