astro mick
Hi. I had a go at NGC 4631 otherwise known as the Whale Galaxy.Using my WO 73 scope with a focal length of 430mm its not exactly ideal for Galaxies but heyho. This is an LRGB image of 2hrs per filter giving a total time of 8hrs.Sky has been quite good to us recently. Stacked in DSS and registered in Registar.Processed in Photo-shop. Fully calibrated with Bias/Darks and Flats. Cheers. Mick.
