Near full Moon - 7th April 2020

A pretty crumby picture this one I’m afraid, but best I could do through the clouds. Venus was beautifully clear earlier, as was the Moon but by the time I came out to take a picture there was light cloud covering it. Anyway, one for the record as much as anything. Have chucked a wide field and Venus in for good measure.

Looks good Stu, the cloud is evidenced on the closeup, still, it's worked well... As for the pink, reminds me of one of those stabilo dayglo markers...

Thanks Craig. I was quite disappointed that it had clouded over for the Moon as I had some nice views earlier, should have taken one then. The resolution seems to really suffer when the light levels are lower behind cloud?

I was pleased with the Venus shot though, probably one of the better ones I’ve taken.
