The Madusa Nebulae

Hi.

I have really struggled with this object,as i dont think it responded well to just RGB imaging.It is fainter than i anticipated.It was always my intention to add Ha to this image,but hopefully not to the extent of losing the RGB detail.

I took 2 hrs of Ha data and 1.5 hrs for both the Red and Blue channels.It was my intention of doing the same for the green,but cloud forced a halt to this.(just managed 5 subs).

I would have liked a really good night on this object,but the weather has been dire,so called a halt to further imaging.

Taken with my ED 80 and Atik 314L+ ccd camera.

Calibration was applied to the images.
