Mounting a finder on WO110 FLT

Purchaser the above scope.

Cannot figure out where to mount a finder. Mine is the DDG version.

Help and experiences welcomed.

Do you mean a red dot finder or a finder scope, I've got a finder scope mounted on a strip of aluminium bolted to the top of the tube rings on mine.

The approach you've taken is what I'm thinking of doing.

Is there a different way for a RDF?

I think there is a screw in the body of the DDG focuser that you remove (it's a plastic blank) revealing a threaded hole which you can then attach a WO finder mount to. Like in these pics:

PS: you might also be able to attach a finder shoe for Skywatcher type finders using that threaded hole. I've seen it done.

The position shown for the finder show in your photo has two metal larger screw heads. I was nervous to touch those because they dont look like finder mounting points. I'll double check now.

Mine also has plastic plugs, I did have a confusing discussion with WO abut mount their RDF on a Star71 and they said not to use those similar holes 

Mines quite old so they may have altered the focuser.

I could remove one of those plugs and fit the WO RDF  but have the finder scope mounted on 110FLT rings, no scope.
