Duo narrow band help

Recommended Posts

Hi

Im planning on buying a duo narrow and filter for my modded dslr and for an upcoming cooled camera (osc)

Im wondering if anyone have any good tips on what brand etc to use.

I have seen ZWO and stc sells duo narrow bands.

I don't want to spend a fortune on this filter so this is the cheapest I have found.

What I need is a 2" filter  that I thread on my field flattner right?

Im new to this hobby so I need all help I can get :)

It's about 50 dollars more than what I planned... But I guess I have to stretch the budget if I have to.

The price is almost the same between those 2 filters, so which one is the better one? Or are they the same? Just different manufacturers?

There is also the Tri-band (or Quad Band depending on your Sky quality) filter from Altair Astro which I use and has had some good results..

I saw a video that that filter produces halos around the stars, have you noticed that?
