Stellarium pro

It's my understanding that the mobile app hasn't been part of the main Stellarium project for a long time. The app is developed independently so is most likely to be quite different to the desktop version.

Having said that, last time I pointed this out I was told that the app is now fully featured and capable in its own right.

So in answer to the OP; I don't know! :)

StellariumMobile and the free desktop Stellarium are separate products. Long ago the originators of Stellarium ceased development of the desktop version and created a mobile version (Stellarium Mobile). This new version of Stellarium Mobile now has telescope control through Bluetooth or WiFi..

The Stellarium Labs website has details on the differences between the three versions. The plus version has all known stars, and most known asteroids and comets apparently, along with telescope control

The desktop version is still being updated, and is independent of the original developers, and there is a web version now too, which both teams link to.

Personally, I prefer SkySafari on my phone and have paid for the 'pro' version- but that's not the question you asked :)

Stellarium is my choice on my laptop, and I don't use any screen in the field to preserve dark adaption.

The Desktop/laptop version is separate to the mobile version. The mobile version I bought has rarely been used. Honestly would say less then 5 times in 2 or 3 years, just found it to be poor in comparison.

Skysafari is in my experience infinitely better. You will likely find you only need the Plus version of Skysafari.

If telescope/mount control is a factor now or in the future then I would again go for Skysafari. They seem to be the one that most manufacturers have talked and developed with.
