Andromeda HaRGB

Last week I had another go at Andromeda withe the ASI294MC and seeing how much data I have from last year when I shot it with a dslr and the Qhy10, I decided to put them all together to see what comes out of it.
It's a combination of 1min, 2min, 4min, 5min, 10min and 15min exposures bringing the total integration time to 22 hours and 11 minutes.

There are a few problems with some of the stars and I think it's because I stacked all the exposure lenghts in one go rather than doing it separately. Another one is the artefacts that I got from the dslr subs. They are noticeable on the top right of the galaxy. 

Overall I'm pretty pleased with it. 

So here it is, Andromeda in HaRGB.

As good an image as I have seen of this, want to try it myself but am struggling to get it all in and can't changes scopes over at the moment after hospital, weather seems to have turned as well. Great shot and a pleasure to view.

That’s a mighty fine M31, lots of detail and for me, a nice colour balance.

What software did you use to combine the different subs?

You can always try a mosaic if it doesn't fit in one frame.

Thank you. I love the colour too. 

Initially I tried to do everything in APP but when it got to the stacking stage it was running out of memory. I then decided to save the calibrated, registered and normalized files and throw them in pixinsight.
