Californian Neb

Hi.

I had a stab at this Nebulae the other night getting around 9 hrs of data.

It is a Ha-RGB image.Taken with my ED 80 + Atik 314L+ ccd.

I tried to rotate the camera to get the maximum Nebulosity.

It did,nt respond very well to both the green and blue channels,so hydrogen pretty well overwhelms the image.

Calibrated with Bias and Flat frames.

The nebula looks great and a proper Ha colour.  A lot of magenta coloured stars, not sure why.

Mindblowing stuff.  Hard to believe we can capture images of this stuff from the back garden.
