astroman001
Here is an image taken with a standard Nikon DSLR. 2rs of 4 min subs with ED80 Pro, dark subtracted only. I struggled a lot with light pollution removal during processing. Peter
Allinthehead
Some fine detail in that Peter. Looks great for only 2 hrs. Regarding the removal of light pollution i think this image would benefit from scnr green or hlvg. You could even try reducing the green channel in levels. assouptro
Great galaxy shot peter! I think scnr green and Hlvg might be Pixinsight acronyms, I’m not sure as I don’t have it? thanks for sharing Bryan Edited October 6, 2019 by assouptro Grammar

I mean the image has too much green in it. Whatever program you use for processing you should be able to adjust the colour balance. Scnr is a Pixinsight action and Hlvg is a plugin for Photoshop.

tooth_dr
@astroman001 Hi Peter, I ran it through HLVG in PS as per Richards recommendation, and balanced the background with GradXterminator.
astroman001
Hi tooth_dr and others. This is a great tool. I have now installed it as a plug in to my PS2. Thank you! Peter
