The Cave (DSLR_

Hi.

I took this wide field version of the Cave Nebulae,at the same time as my existing Cave image.

It was taken wirh my WO 66 SD scope and a Cannon 1000D modified camera.

Its about 3 hrs worth of data.

I thought I would show it too, for a bit of fun.

It's always nice to see DSO targets in their wider contex.  I am thinking about doing something very similar.

Did you have to use a flattener when using the dslr with your WO 66?

I’ve got a SW Equinox 66, wondering how well it would work with my 450D 🤔

Yes you will need a flattener to work with SW 66.

I just use the Altair Astro Flattener,works a treat,and not too expensive.
