Waning Moon 24th August at 05:00 BST

The waning Moon at 05:00 this morning. Seeing conditions were good so I was able to use a 2.5x Barlow on some shots

All shot on the 12" LX 850 using the Altair GPCAM290 M and the trusted Canon 650 for a 3 panel mosaic of the whole Moon.

2000-3000 frames stacked in Autostakkert and sharpened in Registax, tweaked in Photoshop.

Some beautifully crisp images there.  I did think the seeing was starting to sharpen up at around 3am here, but by that time I was in need of sleep so had to call it a night.

I particularly like the ones of Sinus Iridium.
